Sharks make deadline move for big BM.

SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the team has signed unrestricted free agent forward Brandon Mashinter to an entry-level contract. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Mashinter, a 20-year old left wing, is currently playing for the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League, where he was acquired via trade from the Kitchener Rangers in December. The six-foot-four, 232-pound native of Bradford, Ontario has posted 53 points (30 goals, 23 assists) in 47 games, with a plus-nine rating and 67 penalty minutes. “We are very pleased to be able to add a player of Brandon’s caliber to our organization,” said Wilson. “Brandon’s career has really blossomed this season and he deserves a lot of credit, along with Belleville General Manager and Head Coach George Burnett.
This guy is fucking huge, young and he produces... well, in the OHL at least. Let's see what he can do in the big show.

SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forwards Brad Staubitz and Lukas Kaspar from the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
